Dwayne Johnson to Reprise Role as Hobbs in Upcoming 'Fast and Furious' Film

 Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as "The Rock," is all set to return to the Fast and Furious franchise as Hobbs in the upcoming film. The news has been confirmed by the actor himself on his Instagram account, where he shared a photo of himself in character, along with a caption that reads, "We back."


Hobbs, a former Diplomatic Security Service agent, was first introduced in the fifth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast Five. He later appeared in Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, and The Fate of the Furious. Johnson's portrayal of the character was widely praised by both fans and critics, and his return to the franchise has been eagerly anticipated.


The new Fast and Furious film, which is yet to be titled, will be directed by Justin Lin, who has previously directed four films in the franchise.
